Mail Design Professional (MDP) course provides in-depth training on postal standards related to designing letter and flat mail to facilitate processing on high-speed automation equipment while maximizing cost effectiveness and reducing processing delays.

Upon successful completion of this course and the course assessment, you can receive your USPS Mail Design Professional Certification.

Training & Certification Overview

This session will provide a review of the material covered in final certification process. In order to be certified, the student will need to complete the MDP open-book examination.  Time will be devoted to completing the open-book test which is optional to take after the review, or attendees may complete the test on their own and submit for certification within 60 days.

Industry Participants – includes lunch, training, test and certification. There will be a $25 charge for the class and the USPS has now waived fee for the test to receive certification certificate.
